St Thomas has put a lot of work into making the city more livable and enjoyable for its residents. This park is a lovely little gem for people of all ages. Lots of open space and greenery, great playground for kids, a splash pad and even a waterfall.
Always has been a favorite park of young and old and I've now experienced it as a young and old person! Having grown up in St. Thomas and returned there over the years to visit family and friends. It's nice to see the park so beautifully maintained and developed to encourage continued use. Recently, I was there with three generations for Movie Night in the park. It was well attended and enjoyed by all. Well done, St. T!
This place is stunning, absolutely beautiful. When I was younger there used to be a deer here that would come right up to the fence by the play area and you could feed it. This place was my childhood. So many good wholesome memories here. We do family photos here often. This place is large and great for fishing and picnics. In the winter they pull out all the stops and have all these beautiful pieces and light fixtures on display if you have not been here I highly recommend it. Great place for the whole family at all times of the year.
Where there for family reunion. We had a pavilion. Went for a nice walk. Took lots of pictures. Lots for children to do. Found a nice rocky waterfall that flowed into the pond. Snack bar if need a cold drink or snack.
Pinafore is one of the best features of st thomas. It's a huge park on the west end and well kept. Many events are held there every year. A great place for walking/running exercice, or just sit and enjoy the quietness.
